FLOWER FARM U-PICK —
Come spend a summer morning at Fields of Plenty and pick your own bouquet straight from the flower fields!
U-PICK DETAILS
Saturday, August 22nd
Start picking at 8:00 AM
You may arrive anytime between 8:00–11:30 AM
Plan to spend about 30 minutes–1.5 hours at the farm, depending on how quickly you harvest, how many flowers you choose, and, of course, how many people you end up chatting with along the way.
PRICING
$25 per picker — you’ll be able to create your own beautiful bouquet from the flowers available in the fields.
And because it’s important to me that families can enjoy this experience together- kids have their own option:
$10 for 10 stems per child
Any child who is old enough, safe enough, and responsible enough to be in the flower fields can participate in the kids’ U-Pick! This is a great way for kids to experience where local flowers come from, learn how to harvest them, and make their own little bouquet.
PAYMENT
Cash or Venmo
When you arrive, please:
1. Park in front of the white detached garage — this is the farmstand.
2. Come into the farmstand and sign in in the guest book.
3. Pay for your U-Pick inside the farmstand.
4. Then head out to the flower fields to learn harvest instructions and start picking!
I HAVE ALL THE SUPPLIES YOU NEED!
You don’t need to bring a bucket, clippers, or anything else for harvesting. I’ll have everything ready for you.
A FEW IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
• Wear shoes that can get dirty or damp — the fields are typically wet in the morning.
• Please stay in the designated flower-picking areas and follow the harvesting instructions.
• No pets, please.
• Little ones are welcome as long as they are safe and responsible enough to be in the flower fields.
WHY COME TO A FLOWER FARM U-PICK?
Come slow down for a little while.
Bring your kids. Bring your mom. Bring your best friend. Bring someone you love. Or just bring yourself.
Walk through the flowers. Get your hands dirty. Be outside. Notice the pollinators buzzing, the morning dew, the colors, the smells, and all the little things you might miss when you’re rushing through your day.
And then go home with flowers you picked yourself.
Growing flowers is something I LOVE and getting to share them with THIS COMMUNITY is one of the most rewarding parts of having this farm. I’m so excited to open the fields and let you experience a little piece of what I get to see every day.
Come be with nature. Come bring your people. Come pick some MINNESOTA grown flowers.
